Wing

There are 16 composite blades with a thickness of 4mm and a length of 165cm. The blades have a concave shape of 10% and are produced with a 40° pitch angle. To prevent the angle and tilt of the blades from changing against the wind, the blade plates are fixed to the blade fittings using stainless galvanized steel. With these design parameters, even at low wind speeds such as 4 m/s, the blades can rotate and provide the high starting torque necessary for the pump's operation, thus improving performance.

Machine Room

By using two gear mechanisms, the torque generated from the blades is increased threefold, allowing for the extraction of water from deeper water sources. The rotating table bearing located between the tower and the machine room enables easy rotation according to the direction of the wind. The rotor lock in the machine room allows for manual locking of the blades, ensuring the pump's operation can be stopped during maintenance to prevent potential accidents. There is an easily accessible lubrication reservoir for lubricating the gears. The only requirement for lubrication is to fill the reservoir with oil up to the specified level. The gear system automatically lubricates itself while in operation. The wind pump utilizes specially designed, load-bearing and high-speed resistant bearings, including both movable and fixed rollers. The entire machine room is enclosed in a composite box, providing protection against external factors and weather conditions.

Tail

The tail of the wind pump is offset from the center and is hinged to the machine room at a 20° angle from the horizontal. This offset and the angle of the tail allow it to easily detect the wind from different directions and turn the blades towards the wind. At wind speeds of 10 m/s and above, the blades start to feather, meaning they are adjusted to avoid being directly facing the wind. At wind speeds of 15 m/s and higher, the tail closes (furling) to prevent the blades from catching the wind, ensuring the wind pump remains in a safe position.

Tower

The tower has a height of 10 meters and is composed of 6 segments. All tower parts are produced using galvanized steel in a monte-démonte (assembly-disassembly) manner using space frame technology. The assembly can be easily done by fastening the segments together with bolts only.

Pump

The pump has been designed and manufactured to operate smoothly at a depth of 120 meters and is resistant to corrosion.

Crank and Carrier Systems

The designed crank and carrier systems can lift weights of up to 1000 kg. The crank is mounted on the base of the tower and is specifically designed to operate in that configuration. The locking system on the crank allows heavy loads to be safely transported to the top of the tower. The carrier system, which is specially designed to fit at the top of the tower, can be easily assembled using bolts and includes roller bearings and pulleys. With the help of these pulleys and the crank, all parts can be lifted onto the tower and assembled by applying a maximum force of 50 kg. Once the assembly is completed at the top of the tower, the pump and water pipes can be smoothly lowered to the water source using suspension ropes, again utilizing the same crank system.
